1. Introduction
iRta Team ("we", "us" or "our") takes the protection of children's personal information seriously. This Children's Privacy Policy explains how we handle the personal information of children when they use the iRta Phone mobile application (the "App"), and what parents or guardians should know.
In this Policy, a "child" means a person under the age of 14, or under the higher minimum age required by the law of the jurisdiction in which the child is located.
Please read this Policy together with our Privacy Policy and User Agreement.
2. Our General Position
The App is a remote-control tool designed to let users view and control their own computers. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We do not require real-name registration, and we do not market the App to children. Sign-in requires a valid email address and a verification code; we do not collect a child's name, national ID or other identity documents.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child without verifiable parental or guardian consent where such consent is required, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information as soon as possible.
3. Information We May Collect
If a child uses the App, the information collected would be limited to the same types described in our Privacy Policy, namely:
- the email address used to sign in;
- a random device UUID and technical device information; and
- connection data needed to establish a session.
Remote-session data (screen, audio, input, clipboard and files) is transmitted peer-to-peer and is not stored on our servers.
We do not knowingly collect additional personal information from children, and we do not build profiles of children or use their information for marketing.
4. How We Use and Share Children's Information
Any information collected through the App is used only to provide the App and its features, as described in our Privacy Policy, and is shared only as described there (including with the backend services we operate, and with public STUN/relay infrastructure for connection establishment).
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share children's personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. Storage and Protection
We store personal information only for as long as necessary, and we apply the same technical and organizational safeguards described in our Privacy Policy to children's information.
6. Rights of Parents and Guardians
If you are a parent or guardian, you may contact us to:
- review, correct or delete personal information we hold about your child;
- withdraw consent you have given; or
- ask us to stop processing your child's personal information.
To make such a request, please contact us using the details in Section 8. We may need to verify your identity and your relationship to the child before acting on a request.
7. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by other reasonable means.
8. Contact Us
If you have any questions or concerns about this Policy, or if you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us at report@irta.app, or through the feedback entry in the App.
